The Opportunity
As Director of Operations, you’ll serve as the central link between our dentist/owner team, department managers, and frontline staff. Your role is to streamline systems, remove obstacles, support team development, and ensure that all operational aspects run efficiently. With your leadership, our clinical team can stay focused on delivering exceptional care and driving the growth of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Lead & Support Managers
Be the go-to for department managers—support, align, and empower them.
Serve as the bridge between leadership and the rest of the team.
Free up our dentists to focus on clinical excellence and long-term vision.
🔹 Optimize Daily Operations
Oversee and enhance day-to-day workflows and patient experience.
Spot inefficiencies and implement smarter, smoother systems.
Make sure every department hits its performance goals.
🔹 Drive HR & Team Success
Handle escalated staff issues and support team managers.
Collaborate with HR on hiring, onboarding, and retention.
Lead training, performance reviews, and team development.
🔹 Support Financial & Business Goals
Partner with the managing team to analyze budgets, monitor expenses, and drive overall profitability.
Track and report on key financial and operational KPIs to inform strategic decisions and boost performance.
Optimize scheduling, patient flow, and resource allocation to support revenue and productivity goals.
Oversee vendor relationships and contracts, identifying cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.

Coordinate meetings, training, and team-building events.
You’ll Thrive in This Role If You…
✅ Have experience in operations management (bonus if in dental or healthcare)
✅ Are a strong, empathetic leader who knows how to delegate and prioritize
✅ Understand HR, workflows, and how to support multiple departments
✅ Are confident with software (we use: Open Dental, Yapi, Max Assist, EDMS, Slack, ASANA, Dentina)
✅ Communicate clearly and bring people together
✅ Understand the importance of tracking and achieving financial KPIs to drive business success
